Get Enough Rest

If you feel yourself falling asleep while you’re driving, pull over and take a 20-minute power nap.

Take Breaks Often
If you’re driving for more than two hours, take a break every 100 miles or so. Get out of the car and walk around for a few minutes. Stretch your legs and get some fresh air to help you stay awake. If possible, switch drivers every few hours.
